Salespeople are trained to leverage those feelings into impulse buying decisions—it’s their job.Bring someone along and tell your salesperson that the purchase of the car is a joint decision. Claim the power isn’t in your hands (limited authority). Warning: be sure the person you bring along isn’t afraid of a little conflict.
